The Good Times

I remember all the good times we shared

I know that you have always cared

And I know you would always be there

Even though we live so far away you were always there in my mind

I remember all the food times we shared together

Like the time I was scared and you comforted me through the stormy weather

I remember all the good times we had

Like all the times that I had made Grandpa mad

But you were there to make me feel better

I remember all the good times we shared

Like the time you taught me how to play solitaire

And all the times we went to the amusement parks

And you told me not to be scared and I don't have to go on anything if I don't want

So I stayed back with you while the others went on

And the time we were at Epcot in the big crowd and it was your hand that I held

I was scared of fireworks at the time and you told me that it will be ok, they're only a bunch of lights

It was at that time that I had realized that that was the best time there was

Lisa the oldest and the one everyone's proud of

She's gonna be a doctor and she may not have seen you much but it is you she does love

Robby the 2nd oldest, I remember when he taught me how to fish

And we came in and I was excited and who did I go to to tell first? it was you.

Robby cares for everyone but probably you the most

Then came David he had made some mistakes in his life

But you still stood by him and gave him advice

John was next, he's in the army now

He's made our whole entire family so proud

Then Gina came along. Finally Aunt Marie and Uncle Bobby had had the girl they wanted

And I remember when she was mean and she mad everybody mad

But you would still be there and hold her hand when she was sad

Then Aunt Ellen and Uncle Bruce had Diane, their one and only child

She has made you proud as well with her musical talent

Then my parents had me 10 years later after they had my sister

The problem child of my family, never got into school

But still you're there no matter what to me you were always cool

Then Uncle Ed and Aunt Marline had their 1st of 4

Kimberly also not into school

But you would be there and help her with her work if she needed help

Then Jessica came along, another smart Perriera

She's gonna be like Lisa, a straight A student without putting a lot of work into it

Then Makayla came along, the cute little playful child

But sometimes that little girl can become a little wild

Then the newest addition to the family for now

Lauren your great grandchild

Although she doesn't know who anyone is

She would have loved you if she did

Just like the rest of us do

Grandma we all love you from the bottoms of our hearts

When the time comes for you to leave our lives you will be taking a part.
